The benefit of reducing systemic inflammation is well known in the medical literature. At Incredible Smiles we recommend that our patients brush, floss and waterpik. Some do and some don’t. The link to between periodontitis and system inflammation is strong. Reduced inflammation starts with your mouth! Inflammation is a precursor to cancer, arthritis, alzheimers and other diseases, which could severely impact your quality of life. It is important that you try and prevent this from happening now before it has the chance to get worse. If people are already showing signs of arthritis, for example, they may decide to buy CBD oil, or something similar, to help manage and control any pain that they might be experiencing. But it’s surprising to know that this could all start with inflammation.
Here is another helpful hint to decrease inflammation and health risks – use turmeric. You probably have it in your spice cabinet but don’t use it except to cook with occasionally. Spice up your popcorn with pepper and turmeric and receive the added benefit of decreasing inflammation! Hold the butter!
