Is implant placement painful?
Nearly all implant placements are performed with a single Novocain like numbing solution.  Guests who are especially nervous may also choose to take an anxiety-relieving pill prior to the appointment. Following the implant procedure some people will experience mild soreness for a day or so which is relieved by taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as Advil.

Overdentures and implants:
This type of procedure allows for as few as two implants to be placed and to have your existing denture modified for much better fit and stability. This is often times completed in one appointment. This relatively simple procedure (with a low cost) satisfies the demands of many denture clients.
